Unfriendly waiter

Went there with parents for a birthday dinner and all three were quite disappointed and quickly out again. Looks like system catering and food relatively boring / dry. Interestingly enough, I even worked for the interior carpentry shop, but I really don't want to feel connected.

The menu with good home cooking is convincing. Particularly noteworthy is the unusually friendly and friendly staff. And, that more than makes up for a burned tongue on the pretty hot spinach. In most restaurants, people are no longer used to the fact that the food is really as hot on the table as it has not yet been eaten. Basically, blowing is a must. From our point of view, hot food is to be rated as absolutely positive despite a burned tongue. We would definitely like to come back.

Great atmosphere, very nice waiters and the best German home cooking! Plus, you don't have to wait long for the food. 5 stars in every point.

Excellent place

A restaurant with delicious food and a nice atmosphere. Traditional German dishes are served, which have been reinterpreted by the chef. One example is the sauerbraten goulash. The selection of drinks is large. Wine lovers in particular get their money's worth. The service is nice and courteous. But there is one point deduction from me for the - in my opinion - slightly too small portions. Don't believe now that I have a lot on my ribs ;-)

I was there for breakfast today with my girlfriend. Very pleasantly quiet, nice, quiet music. Rich menu. The Käsefant breakfast was very filling and tasty. Nicely arranged on an etagère. The peppermint tea was brewed with fresh mint. The orange juice was freshly squeezed. Everything was delicious ? the service was friendly and quick. We will be back.

Dried radish slices in salad. The stew is highly salted.

Gin ok but too expensive at 9 €. Pasta too hard, sauce tastes good. Devaluation for 35 minutes of waiting time for pasta in combination with the question "what did you order again?" (After 30 minutes). Too bad.

Very tastefully renovated traditional inn in the city of Bonn. The service was consistently attentive and friendly. A varied menu whose not too large scope suggests freshly prepared dishes. An impression that has been confirmed. We decided on »Fischers Fritze« - Kibbeling based on the Dutch model with a delicious dip and crispy fries. Good beer and wine selection. The only shame is that the increasingly common bad habit of serving wine in 0.15l glasses is practiced. As a guest, the impression arises that the somewhat higher wine prices are to be embellished in this way. It should also be emphasized that the online reservation was immediately answered positively, which we have already experienced differently elsewhere.

The wheat beer is tapped from the barrel and tastes very good. Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris are really good. I had the burger and it was very good. French fries are awesome and you should definitely try them. The fried fish must also be very good. The service is very attentive and friendly. When I got up I forgot to put on the mask and was immediately made aware of it.

Good service, food ok but who wants to chew on whole peppercorns? You can see in my photos here which dishes that was, I have documented.

A wonderful restaurant, nice and attentive service and of course really good food right in the middle of Bonn! Regardless of whether it is schnitzel, the delicious cake or the selection of country bread, there is something for every taste.

A restaurant with good traditional German cuisine, as the young waiter put it. But you can eat spaghetti bolognese with lentils instead of meat. There is also Burger Duke. The rest of the dishes are probably more traditional. Good kitchen. Service OK.

When I was there for the first time, everything was a disaster. This time completely the opposite. Food fantastic, service very nice and attentive, very cozy. Value for money!

Wonderful food, very nicely designed menu. Unique and cozy. We were just thrilled. The only thing: the cleanliness of the toilet does not suit such a great restaurant. It was simply neglected and not clean at all. Unfortunately.

Lovely food and service.

Staff was very kind. But Quality of fillet beef steak was far below expected and never ever recommend. Very hard and Lots of nerves and hard to chew. For the evidence I took a photo, but decided not to put it here because looks so bad... Well appreciated with the updated response though the first response was honestly not acceptable in general. By the way, I informed about the quality of meet to the lady, but then, reaction was not friendly. After payment, I just wanted to hear any words, even 'thank you for visiting us'.

Good location. Pleasant interior. Friendly and professional service. Good food. Reasonable prices. The menu could offer a few more options for vegetarians.

Great place, with long history. The food was good however the service could be a bit better thats why this place did not get a 5* review. The manager was a bit rude to one of our friends.

Awesome place for dinner

If you serve breakfast till 12:00 then take orders till 11:55. Otherwise dont put on the menu breakfast till 12:00! The waitres was very rude when i asked that i wanted a breakfast at 11:55 . Dont fool people with the times and be clearfull. I will never come here or recommend it to anybody!

Best place I've been to in my week in Bonn. Great food and kind personnel!

Food is expensive, but staff is rude. We asked a waitress for a recommendation (very politely and with honest curiosity), and she basically shut us off and told us that she will come back when she is ready to order - in a very rude way.
